Welcome to Department of Statistics
This site presents information on education and research in statistics at Uppsala University. The department has about 20 employees, of which approximately 10 are doctoral students.
Teaching in undergraduate education is conducted primarily in the subject statistics, but the department participates in various undergraduate programs (in economics, in social sciences, in pol.kand program, in community planning program and the program of cultural and social analysis). The department also participates in the master's programs in social sciences and economics and is pursuing our own master's program in statistics.
